This is a bit of an unusual donation plea but one that myself and many others feel very strongly about so please take a read below and if you are able to help out in any way I know that Editor and founder Nickie, the staff of Devolution and myself would truly appreciate the support.
There are a few ways in which you could help:
1) There are still advertising spaces in the Nov/Dec issue which need to be booked – starting at just £35.00 for 3 months you can drop Nickie a line direct at [email protected] and ask for details and ad rates.
2) You can purchase yourself or a friend a 4 x issue subscription (available worldwide) from the webshop – these will make fantastic Halloween or Christmas gifts – available from: http://www.devolutionmerch.com
3) The Devolution Xmas Party 2011 Tickets are on sale NOW and can be purchased from the webshop: http://www.devolutionmerch.com the party takes place on Saturday 26th November at The Face Bar in Reading. For the line-up and event info head over to the event invite: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=127236184025338&ref=ts
4) Or you can simply donate some money to this worthwhile cause. From as little as just 50p you really could help to make a difference and keep this independent magazine alive and live to see its 8th Birthday! You can send your generous donation to [email protected] - the deadline for donations that will help with the running cost of the Xmas party is Friday 19th November 2011.
We know that some people may find this a rather unorthodox gesture but with looming deadlines getting closer and closer this was the most fast acting approach that could be taken. If you feel that you want nothing to do with this at all that is absolutely fine and completely understandable, all we ask is that there are no negative comments or suggestions left on this page. No one is being forced into parting with money and this is certainly not something that you have to commit to or opt in for.
We truly appreciate your support and understanding with this delicate situation and hope that we are able to raise anything that will help Nickie and the Devolution team in putting on a successful Xmas Party in November as well as keeping the future of the printed magazine alive.
